If you want an all inclusive space with great drinks and an amazing atmosphere this is the place to go!!!! I have been coming here for 20+ years and it truly is my home. Inclusiveness is the first thing I feel when I walk in the door. Great entertainers, dancers, shows, and staff. Sammy has created what the LGBT community needed in Springfield.
First timer for me and my friends. Wasn't as good as expected. We bought tickets prior to coming thinking it was going to be really special. The meet and greet was on time at 10:30-11pm, but the drag show itself was supposed to start at midnight. At 11:45, there weren't any fans to meet the special guest from RPDR. The Go-go boys could only do so much to keep us entertained. By the time it was 12:25, the drag queens finally performed. We called it a night right before 1am, and we did not see the guest star from RPDR. I'm not sure if that is a thing here in MA, but everything should be on time according to the website. Aside from that, really good drinks, bartenders were amazing, the room was spacious, and they sold "fun" merchandise.
We found this place last December (2023). We loved it. Since we are from CT and gotta drive 1 hour and a half to get there, we’ve been going once a month ever since and stay at the Marriot. It was slow on our last visit on pre-memorial day sunday, but it was great to get to meet Apollo, who’s my new favorite; he’s sexy, he’s cute, very friendly and a great performer, we simply loved him Still miss Enrique, though Hope to get to see Apollo on our next visits
Bar and tables are conveniently placed. That’s all folks. 10 bucks to enter an empty bar on Friday night. Someone must have come up with an idea of, god forbid, "entertainers". But, pray, are these "entertainers" able to link few words together to make a sentence work? I thought. Just make it make sense, I thought. Verdict: modelo is good and cheap. Skip the rest.
It makes me sad to say how much of a disappointment this venue is to the community. To start off the place looks completely unsanitary last week when I was in there I was so scared to go to the bathroom I literally had to stop myself from going to the bathroom while I was there. The employees also was not friendly at all. It’s not my fault you don’t like your job but there is no reason to take it out on the customer who is trying to help you earn a buck. When it comes to the owner I wish things were done more professionally and behind close doors rather than letting me the customer and other people see dancers being mistreated. In order to have a good well establishment you have to do better and want better . All aspects and areas should be covered and at no point can selfishness take a lead. I’d like to end this review with saying I will never return to this establishment and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time friendly environment that the X-Room at Mardi Gras is one place you would want to stay far far away from promise you you’ll thank me later.
Right from the moment I walked into this place as a dancer I felt right at home. I did not experience a single ounce of disrespect or mistreatment from a single coworker or manager. Howard, Angelo, and Sammy all made me feel so comfortable and were always caring and supportive. When you walk into this establishment you will see that these reviews don’t reflect reality and are a blatant lie, written out of pettiness and anger. This club forever changed my life in a positive way and will always have a special place in my heart.
It's great when you see a part of management come to the comment section and be passive aggressive in their own review. You want customers to believe you do the job properly and that all blame falls on the employees aka dancers for not following rules. As an OPERATION SUPERVISOR for many stores that produce 4.5 million in sales I will sates this EMPLOYEES are a clone of MANAGEMENT they see what you do and copy it anyone in business will tell u this. I do agree with Angelo though employees "aka dancers"do fire themselves with their own actions but if they are breaking rules it's because they were shown this is okay.. Good luck. Be mindful of where u loose your temper so customers can't see this. The dancer here were good and did well.. Environment not so great and establishment was dirty looking but it's a bar and dance club so it's expected to be a bit seedy. First time experience will be fun if anything..
