I love a good drag show and always have a good time at Rehab so I wanted to give Prism a try. Went to the Pink Eggs & Glam Brunch on Sunday. The atmosphere was great and everyone was so fun! The music definitely caters to a specific audience - with the 5 Black women in attendance (throughout different groups) not knowing any of the songs. A whole lot of Taylor Swift. A good time was had nonetheless but you get the feeling the audience is very specific. Food was good and Ben was so nice!
Loved all the queens and the atmosphere was fun, full of laughter and great entertaining. I will be back!! I didn’t eat any of the food
We went for a Saturday show on Halloween weekend. Performers were very polished, makeup especially!! It’s a small space but fun because performers will interact with you! The setup was amazing they had this cool big screen that would play fun intros. We also had an allegedly straight man that was a bit of a heckler, and the queen hosting did such a good job shutting it down while still keeping the energy high, which is hard to do!! We only stayed for a couple numbers before we had to meet up with our other friends, but we will absolutely be coming back!
I went to Prism for a drag show on Thursday night, Cinco de Mayo. When I arrived, a bit early, the place was less busy. I had a seat at the bar and ordered a soda, as I don't drink. The bartender was very kind and took great care of everyone. I liked the decor and patio--I thought it was classy for a bar. They also have a large, clean restroom that's accessible, which is rare for a bar. When the drag show started, we moved to the lounge area. The sound quality was good. Some of the songs were a bit older, but the new songs were really enjoyable. More people kept joining the crowd until the small room was packed. I had to leave to work at midnight, but I enjoyed the show and hope to return.
Came for the Saturday night show with a bachelorette group - literally every single staff member and performer was phenomenal. Each person in the room was treated like a VIP during the performance, they truly do take the time to interact with every audience member. This was the highlight of our weekend, thank you so much for the great memories!
Fun and nice staff! The atmosphere was welcoming and the drag brunch was a great time! This was my second ever drag brunch and my first here in STL. The brunch is self serve and the bottomless mimosas are more juice than champagne but I was driving so it worked for me. If you are trying to get a buzz you’re better off being the $20 bottle of champagne and asking for a cup of juice. I’d this is your first drag show/brunch make sure to bring cash for the queens performances, the bartender can exchange your cash for ones. We had. A fun time and the acts were great! My friends and I will definitely be back!
I took a group of five to the drag show this past week at Prism STL. As the middle-aged straight white dude, I was the only one of the bunch, which included my mom, sisters, and nieces who had been to a drag show before. My mother is in the last stages of cancer and always wanted to see a drag show so we took her. A fantastic time was had by all. I can't thank you more for fulfilling one of my mom's bucket list items and loving on her in the way that only drag queens can!
