The Midway Saloon

About 30 minutes after walking in, I already knew this spot was going to be one of my favorite bars in St. Paul 🍻✨ It has that perfectly divey, authentic, hometown feel that’s hard to find these days. Nothing fancy or overdone — just real character, good energy, and a relaxed crowd 😎🤘 Back in my early 20s, I was probably a little too young (and maybe too busy) to really appreciate places like this. Now, I totally get the charm. The vibe is comfortable, unpretentious, and welcoming — the kind of place where you can just be yourself 🏡🍺 They’ve got some great deals too, but you have to come in and ask about them 😉💸 Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

I never leave reviews but unfortunately I feel compelled. I cannot believe how rude the blonde bartender is. Was rude from the second me and my friends asked for a round of drinks. Figured tipping $10 on a $20 tab would help brighten her mood. I was wrong. I watched her kick a potential customer out for literally putting a $20 bill on the bar who was trying to order a drink.

30 minutes into my experience… already one of my favorite bars in St. Paul. Divey, original, home town vibes. I was a bit to young in my 20s to spend time in bars. Great deals but you gotta come in and ask about em 🤙

Stopped in to The Midway Saloon on Friday night for a couple nice drinks!! Very fun atmosphere and the bartenders were very good!! We will be back soon!!

Went on a windy, cold evening to have some bar & grill grub with my spouse. However, the kitchen closed early despite the hours posted online. We stayed for a drink and received nice service at the bar.

We hosted our first ever Songwriter Showcase with Bubba Startz presented by The Scene Projects here in December 2024. A great bar with the perfect vibe for who we are. We haven't been back to experience it on a game night at Allianz but we heard it gets PACKED and there is always LIVE music to listen to here!! See you when we come back later this year!!

This is a nice and convenient establishment. People are friendly. It's very welcoming here. It's right across from the soccer field on University. So if you're going to a game come a little early and step in. There is parking in the back and along the sides. It's near the end of the season but they have a nice patio also. If you want to play some pool and have a cocktail or just relax before the game. You may need to do that because you'll be screaming your head off but. I hope that you're going to have pictures it's very clean it's very comfortable and it's quite fun. Signed Christian.
