Crispy Brussels sprouts and fresh tuna poké to start, with peach bellinis and a green mimosa added to the menu for the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Stamford. The main event: a classic eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs over a thick, smoky cut of Canadian bacon, roasted potatoes with chipotle mayo on the side, and just a touch of fresh fruit to keep things balanced. Simple, indulgent, and exactly what brunch should be. The host and waitstaff were warm and welcoming, and the timing of everything felt just right. It gave me plenty of time to relax and catch up with my friend who I hadn’t seen in a while, while still having the staff check in from time to time. They also have a rooftop bar and restaurant that I’m looking forward to visiting when the weather warms up.

The holiday decor is top notch … definitely great for photos. The service was wonderful. New chef ( from food network and he beat Bobby flay) works there now and the food was superb. My husband could not stop talking about how good his chicken scarp was. Apps were excellent as well. We had the meatballs and garlic bread . We cannot wait to return!

The food was amazing! We got lots of appetizers and each of them were delicious. I had the truffle burger for my entree and it was one of the best burgers I have had! The service was excellent and the staff were so kind to us. The whole place was decorated beautifully for the holidays. It was our first time going there and we will definitely be going back!

Had a chill Valentine’s Eve at Sign of the Whale 💕 The place is really nice to hang out, and the servers were super helpful and friendly — shoutout to Shannon for being so kind and attentive. Food review: Calamari Rhode Island 🌶️ – spicy, but not the best I’ve had Coconut shrimp 🦐 – a bit too sweet for my taste Fairfield chicken cutlet 🍗 – didn’t really enjoy it, the chicken was quite hard Overall, the food was okay, but the vibe and service make it a great spot to hang out with friends or for a casual night out.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my husband's birthday at SOTW's Sunday brunch event with a group of 24 guests. The food and service, from our initial communication to the conclusion of the brunch, was truly exceptional. We chose a pre-fixed menu with booze included. Kayla, who assisted with all my inquiries and the reservation process, was wonderfully patient and professional. Carly (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) with day of confirmation and answered my last minute questions. Vincent who welcomed us personally. Last but not least, Nick, our server, was absolutely outstanding!! He assured me that his primary goal was for us to have a fantastic experience without any worries. He took care of all our guests and even managed any late arrivals. He made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed, and he integrated seamlessly with our group. I am extremely grateful for Nick's friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism. It was truly the best experience imaginable!!! Highly recommend SOTW for your event; their staff is truly wonderful!!

This restaurant was amazing. We mostly went for the Christmas decor. However, the service was the best, each person that walked by always checked on us! Food came out fast and everyone was friendly. There chicken scarp is the best I've EVER had, a must try! Really 5/5 for service and food!

Chris was a great server—attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Everything we ordered was good overall, except for two items. The banana spring rolls could’ve been sweeter, as the bananas tasted a bit bland. The crème brûlée was slightly disappointing—the sugar topping was too soft and didn’t have that crisp, crackly texture we were expecting, so it felt a bit mushy. Overall, still a good experience.
