Lucky Silver Tavern

Nice dive bar, featuring good wings and cold beer. I like good chill dive bars, where there are regulars at one end yet they welcome strangers. We sat at the bar, near the microscopic kitchen, and admired the surroundings. The back bar is art deco, with build in cold boxes featuring names of brewers long lost to history. We had the wings, and they were quite good. Freshly fried, and clearly not Sysco, they were tender and loaded with flavor. Prices were good, and the vibe was just right. A nice place for a dive bar lunch!

First time visiting, had a good time. Menu items not updated on google, some things not available but they are still accommodating. Great customer service. Updating my above review from a year ago. Been here several times and customer service is great. Love the hot dogs, wings and salads are delicious. Love the drink menu, so this has become our go to spot for good food and drinks.

Since I’ve been to this dive bar several times over the last few months, it has easily been one of my favorite bars in Tacoma. The atmosphere has been cozy and usually allows conversations to flow with the person next to you without having to shout at each other to hear. I’ve never been disappointed with the food and drinks either, the new menu face-lift has more options than before, with the fried cheese curds, the Korean pork belly tacos, and the hot honey lemon pepper wings being my personal favorites. The staff and the owners are talented and genuine people, with Drew and Cody working wonders behind the bar while Deven is usually cooking up something great. Every once in a while, there’s live music or karaoke which have been fun to attend to. When the weather is nice, the outside patio situation has been great to mingle but on rainy days we like to hangout and play pool. Overall, I really enjoy my time here and try to recommend it when I can!

**Update** The Lucky Silver just released a new menu and it looks delicious. First and foremost, I love dive bars. The Lucky Silver is easy to miss, but you really don't want to miss it. This place is tucked away in between a glass shop and a diner, in Tacoma's Nalley Valley. I've been coming in for several years, but it had been some time since my last visit. We happened to pop in yesterday and were surprised to find it was under new ownership. We met the new owners, Leslie and Curtis as well as Davon, who was tending bar. Davon was attentive, friendly and quick to serve us. We noticed that the menu was smaller than in the past, but decided we needed to try the cheese burger. I'm so glad that we did. It was one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a while. I give it a 4 napkin rating!! The hand cut fries were delicious and not at all greasy. The beer was cold, the whisky was tasty and the new owners and bar tender were friendly. I definitely will be increasing my visits here.

Korean BBQ tacos, fish and katsu tacos are amazing.. bartenders are friendly and everything is well priced .. it’s under new ownership in the past month and I love the staff and the owner is sweet.

Everytime I've stopped in, the bartender is really cool, the foods great and the drinks are stiff yet affordable. Happy hour kicks ass as well.

Great staff, very friendly and want to make sure you enjoy yourself and your food! Great burgers, wings, tots, etc… Amazing flavors!!
