The Lounge At Market Square

Been a minute since I posted but I'm back at it. I got the chance to try The Lounge At Market Street out while having a get together for a friends birthday. I like the atmosphere because it's cozy on the inside and then they have the outside area where you can enjoy a nice cigar while you sip and watch TV. They have a killer selection of top shelf and hard to find liquors, even saw Pappy up there! Looking at their menu, there's something for everyone in there. I started by trying the Boulevardier because the ingredients seemed interesting and I've never had one before. It was ok and a little tart, so I moved on to the Old Fashioned. It was pretty decent so I decided to try one more drink before sticking with the Old Fashioned. One of my friends tried a Black Martini so I asked our server for one. I swear that was the best Martini I've ever had so I stuck with those for the remainder of the night. I wish this place had food options because you need something to soak up those tasty beverages they serve. The great thing about this place is they allow you to bring something to eat with you or you can have it delivered. We had a blast inside the establishment and outside in the lounge area. I'll definitely be back! The service here is top notch too!

For some reason, it is becoming a tradition for the four of us to stop by this small place on Christmas Eve night after our Secret Santa party. You'd think the place would be empty! You'd be wrong. Heck, last year on Christmas Eve we even ran into Santa at this place. The REAL Santa! If you like top-shelf cocktails and friendly bartenders, you'll love this place - even if it isn't Christmas Eve. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Really dig the vibe and atmosphere - and my group said the cocktails were amazing. But can we please hire a bar-back to clean throughout the night? The bartenders were way too busy and the bar was a hot mess.

This bar gives off safe vibes. Great selection of whiskeys especially the rare stuff.

Talk about a vibe. The atmosphere is solid, and the drinks are tasty. It is bring-your-own-food from what I understand. As for the drinks, you give a hint of what you want, and the bartenders conjure up something magical. It seemed like each drink was better than the last, and the drinking experience only went up from there.

Very relaxing and quaint (both inside or outside). Adam (bartender) was attentive and friendly.

What a rip off - I had an ‘old fashion’ which was overly expensive for an under 3 ounce drink in an 8 ounce glass with an orange peel; they had the audacity to charge 16 dollars plus change forget the tip.
