Customer Reviews
Corner Club Tampa has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 based on over 314 reviews on Google
Unfortunately, we ended up leaving without eating, even though we had already paid for our food. We had a front row seat to the kitchen from the bar, and our entire group watched as our food was being prepared, including pancakes and sandwiches, without gloves. At one point, we could clearly see her palming our food with bare hands. It immediately made us uncomfortable and made me lose my appetite. The food itself was also disappointing. The BLTs we ordered came out as just LTs. The breakfast sandwich was simply two stale biscuits with nothing on them. For the price, I would have expected a much better overall experience. The space itself is cute, which makes this even more unfortunate. I never leave bad reviews, but I felt it was important to flag these issues. Cleanliness, accuracy, and basic food quality are reasonable expectations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers have a better experience.
The outdoor area was beautiful!! Don't let the outward appearance scare you off. My group were the only ones in the bar at 7pm, but a few people came in. The food was so good!! Some items were typical bar food, but the soup and salad far exceeded my expectations. The server explained without prompting where the ingredients were sourced, all local. I will be back!
I recently visited with a friend during a midweek lunch and was really looking forward to trying this place based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming from start to finish. When we arrived around lunchtime, the parking lot was empty and the restaurant had no guests inside. We waited about a minute before a server came over to greet us. We ordered a variety of items to get a good feel for the menu — hummus, fish dip, two French onion soups, a salad, and a breakfast biscuit. If I had to describe the food in one word, it would be underwhelming. The appetizer portions were very small, presentation across the board was lacking, and most importantly, the food just didn’t taste good. The French onion soup was especially disappointing — it had shredded cheese that melted to the bottom with no traditional bread and melted cheesy topping, which I’ve honestly never seen before. Once our food was delivered, our server never checked back in, which made us wonder if he was already aware of the quality being served. The overall experience just felt flat and disappointing. This might be a decent spot to grab a drink in the evening, but based on our visit, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for quality food or a memorable dining experience.
I couldn’t love this place anymore than I do! The food is incredible but most of all, you’re greeted with an instant friend with Jenny. I HIGHLY recommend Corner Club any time of day.
I looove this place! Music, so many Activities, good people, great atmosphere. My favorite are the jazz nights every 2nd Sunday of the month with the Market vendors!. Pet friendly. Beautiful people & unique Vintage finds! My favorite vendor: Vtg Emerald City!
Had the opportunity to grab breakfast at the NEW corner club. Breakfast starts at 10am. Decent menu offerings that are not like every other restaurant. We had the lox on bagel, dutch baby, and chocolate pound cake french toast. Pictures in post. There are definitely still some front of house timing problems, which is to be expected for a restaurant in its first week. The chef was absolutely killing it the entire time and was never behind on orders. Service staff is really friendly and eager to answer any questions. There's a pretty extensive drink list with interesting new stuff on the way. Our food was generally good, except for the Dutch baby. The problem is that it was a bit soggy and it's very small for the price point. The lox are good quality and the bagel was well toasted with a generous schmear. The French toast was a fun sweet and savory dish. We also watched a bunch of other food come out that looked great. Value for money is great, you can't go wrong. I will miss the old corner club but this new iteration is worth a visit. We will definitely be back.
Checked out this gem in Seminole Heights tonight. Great location with ample seating inside and out. What’s great is that they have movie night outside which is hella cool. Customer service is on point. Albeit it was semi sow when I went. I tried their burger and wings. The price was very good. Until I got the portion size. The burger was ok. I couldn’t taste the sauce that much. Which was a little disappointing. The burger size is about 50% bigger than a crystals/White Castle size. Which is ok. But I thought the order was for a regular sized burger. The wings however where comparable with other eateries around the area. Now on to taste. Again the flavor was lacking. It was Al in the skin. Which I loved how they cooked the wings. They were crisp. And the meat very moist. But again. All the flavor was on the skin. All in all a solid 3. Great place to hang out with friends. I’ll definitely try their other foods.
