Don’t be too quick to run here they are in transition from what I been told in turning around the crown and quality . Bartender was doing her best she’s a tough cookie holding up new rules even at the cost of tips and possible sales she made sure no shirt no shoes no service I give her props. But maybe could have been a little more flexible on the get out time or at least giving an earlier last call because I’m leaving with a full drink in hand a parking lot so small we all had to leave it just so bartender who was locked in and very aggressive about wanting out (maybe find diff parking ) cause she won’t always be lucky especially if someone leaves car because they take an Uber.

Cheap dive bar with 2 pool tables, but no dance 🩰 area. It was crowded but area outside to smoke and they cooked inside

Fun spot. Dive bar feel. People will socialize with you and welcome you in. Rachael the bartender is nice to talk to, attentive and quick to refill your drinks. Always a good time here

**5 Stars** The Hole in the Wall Bar is exactly what a true dive bar should be—no nonsense, all vibe. No food, no gimmicks, just ice-cold drinks and a great atmosphere. Vonnie was my bartender and she made the whole experience. Friendly, quick with the beers, and just the right attitude to make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. If you're in Tampa and want a real bar with real people, The Hole in the Wall is the spot.

If you are not a regular, I would steer clear from this bar. As a dive bar connoisseur, I can say that this is one of those places where you walk in and people aren't very friendly. Sure, the wait staff is fine enough for a hospitality industry, but it's quite apparent that they favor the local regulars. The place has all the makings of a good dive bar, but you end up feeling like a burden instead of a welcomed customer. Bottled beer only. Smoking outside only. Tourists beware.

Local to this bar. Decided to pop in to check the atmosphere. First, parking lot too small. Told to park in lot next door with "towaway" warning signs. Nope. Parked at gas station on corner after asking store attendant's permission. Didn't feel comfortable after stepping into bar. Felt too small, too few bar chairs, no extra seating available. After asking for a drink was berated by bartender for not asking her name. Then after asking for second beer she chided me for a tip. I left bar with beer in hand after fight started, never to return again. Good thing was my car was still in gas station lot and I was able to drive away shaking my head...
