Barcelona Wine Bar

We had the absolute best New Year’s Eve celebration here! My wife has celiac and Barcelona always has the best gluten-free options. We had a mixture of the paella and multiple tops and they were all incredible. The sangria and chocolate cake were perfect too. We will definitely be back. Barcelona is always an incredible restaurant for us!

I went to Barcelona with a party of 10 for a holiday get together. We were seated upstairs in the loft area, which was so perfect! We enjoyed the private dining experience. Food came out hot and delicious. We sampled so many tapas, including brussels sprouts, carrots, meatballs, olives, shrimp, empanads (my favorite), some manchego (also incredibly tasty with the sweet jam on the plate). We shared a big paella with the table, and the cocktails were all on point. Sunday was half off bottles of wine and our party really enjoyed the red and the sparkling rose we ordered. The service was very friendly, and patient, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a perfectly delightful dinner.

A friend and I went to Barcelona a few nights ago, and had a great experience. The food and drinks were amazing! There was a small issue that was handled before I even knew it was an issue (and that's a shocker). Shae was our server and once the issue was recognized, she came to the table, explained what happened, and not only made it right, but went above and beyond to make sure that we had the absolute best experience. I can't remember the manager's name that came over to speak with us as well, and she was wonderful!! Overall 10/10, I WILL be coming back and I recommend that whoever is reading this review goes as well! Ask for Shae!

We were seated promptly (party of six). Took 20 minutes to get our drinks though. Two of us requested sparkling water, rest ordered still water. They arrived in old fashioned glass milk jars. Waitress couldn’t tell which bottles were still or sparkling when placed on the table, even after asking her. Size of font on menu was too small. It was a zone wait-staff experience ie food arrived when it was ready by whomever however I sat for 20 minutes with no food to eat (my four plates arrived at once at the end of the meal when most of the group was done eating). Two tapas plates never arrived, waitress didn’t ask how the food was, and if we needed more water (we did). Unattentive. The bikini, sweet potatoes and mushrooms were excellent. Friend to my right had salmon and then she immediately ordered another one - must have been excellent. My husband said the meatballs were good but not spectacular. He thoroughly enjoyed the arugula salad! I ordered a 6oz rose brut sparkling wine. It arrived in a wine glass. Ugh! Serve the bubbly in a flute so I can enjoy the bubbles. BIG miss. My husband ordered the special sangria and said it was a home run! Restaurant was extremely loud! Love Spanish (and Basque) food but this experience wasn’t worth the price tag!

I celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner here with friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The service was truly exceptional , attentive and polished, like something out of a fine dining experience. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly balanced and creative. What really stood out was the staff: warm, professional, and so welcoming that we felt like Spanish royalty for the night. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I can’t wait to come back.

Came at 9pm on a Friday, was able to sit as a walk in. Great atmosphere. Dos peninsulas is a really good drink. Mussel portion was far too small, especially for the price.

Have been here 4 times over the last few years. Every time is a good time. I’d say the we have had very good experiences each time. It has a very lively, noisy, but comfortable feel. The crowd is younger but it is fun. Love the looong booth seats with tables for two gently spaced apart. The sounds bring the dining rooms alive. The soft aged dark woods and fun and bold art and lighting make the atmosphere pop. The cocktails were very good, as well as the flight of wines. The food was delicious. We started with some cheeses, meats, nuts, and an olive salad. The savory and sweet flavors were a nice way to warm up to the bigger stuff. Onto the Jamon Croquettes, carrots, mushrooms, dates, and bread with EEOO. Wow, a complex blend of flavors and textures. Complemented by bread dipped in EEOO. Divine. "Would you any dessert?" Um, yes, if you say. . Cheesecake with strawberries and Graham Central Ice Cream. The experience is mind blowing. The ultimate end to a great night. Make a reservation. Today!
