24 Hour Fitness

I can’t believe such a big brand gym located it in such a nice place would be this poorly maintenance.. They don’t replace the filters in water bottles fountains. Everything is dirty, old or broke. I mean i don’t know how they are in business. Unfortunately i already paid a year subscription and this is the closest on to my new home but deeply regret it. If you can avoid it my advice is do it.

Ricky P. is amazing. I have allot of anxiety at the gym. He was able to me so patient and sympathetic with me and my friend. I was honored to receive all the education and information that suits our needs through him. Plus he is a Veteran. Come support him and acknowledge him for his time with his clients. He’s awesome. I like this gym, but I really liked working with my personal trainer here at this location. At first, I was really shy about coming in. I didn’t know anything about form or the machines, until Randee, my trainer, helped me understand everything I needed to know. Thanks to Randee, I felt that much more confident and comfortable going to the gym because now I know more about forms, gym etiquette and just coming in to work on myself. Randee’s help alone changed a lot in my life, and I’m really grateful that 24 has wonderful trainers like her. She has an amazing attitude and is always working hard with her clients every time I see her. So thank you Randee, for making 24 such a wonderful experience for me! If anyone reading this is thinking about working with a personal trainer, I highly recommend Randee!

This 24 hour fitness location has been receiving one star reviews for years now. They do not take bad reviews seriously. Their equipment has been disgusting for years and years. They have not been clean for years and years. They just don’t care whoever is managing this gym has no idea what upgrades or cleanliness means. It would be nice to have a nice clean gym in this location, but it will never ever happen. The 24 hour fitness in Costa Mesa is beautiful. They are remodeling again and it looks like a spa. Check out the Costa Mesa location. I live at Bella Terra and I have to drive 6 miles to a clean gym. They are constantly cleaning the facility. The equipment is state of the art, the pools and Jacuzzi are always clean. Stay away from the Bella Terra location. It is not healthy..

1. Clean, glad they have etiquette rules up and seem to repair things quicker than Atlanta Ave facility. 2. Need to put in 15-20 lockers with code option to reduce bags and blockage of isle ways. Also, helps with esthetic and convenience for clients needing to store a few items like a purse or jacket. 3. Need to remove 2-4 bikes so clients can get to the elliptical machines. Right now clients must walk sideways between bikes to get to the ellipticals. 3. Like the mix of music played.

Go to a different location…. This place is disgusting. The maintenance is all wrong, the staff are rude every now and then, (but I understand people could be having a bad day, we’re all human.) There isn’t enough equipment so more than likely someone will be on something you want to do. The benches are way too high up so it’s awkward using the dumbbells on them. I really hate to write this review but the nastiest part of this sauna is the sauna, the sauna is DISGUSTING, it SMELLS so bad and is very unclean. What a shame.

Being a guest at this location for the first and only time(my wife has been a member here for about 10 years), I am astounded at the condition of this gym. How can anyone, owner or manager, allow a business of health maintenance to be this gross? Firstly, after taking a few swimming strokes in the lap pool I found my eyes burned my lips numb my skin slimy. This is a condition of dangerously high level of chlorination. Hazardous. Upon deck, I ran into a few members milling about talking of progressively worsen condition at this 24 Hour Fitness location: lap pool water is over chlorinated (one lady even shared a photo of her new swimming suit faded to almost white, it really shows in the straps), whirlpool water temperature is colder than the lap pool, sauna rarely has any heat, steam room has no steam, changing rooms are rarely cleaned or mopped. The owner of the now ruined swimsuit also related to a fact that management simply does not care: front desk was notified of the high chlorination issue, but rebuffed by a manger and told to leave it alone, nothing to fix! I shared my thoughts to the group: take your business elsewhere, but not before filing complaints with California Department of Consumer Affairs (for breaching of contract/promise and fail to provide working facility/service in exchange for fee/membership) and Cal/OSHA (for creating hazardous condition to employee/member and/or the public). This gym truly needs a total renovation or shut down.
