Hartigan Beach Park

Accessible and low key beach in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Peaceful and relaxing.

Great place to distance swim in either direction. I have only encountered 1 boat. Don't to leave things on the beach while you swim. They will be stollen. Beach not very clean.

People who are looking for a peace, grab a cup of coffee. you will find a stones where you can sit and enjoy this amazing view.

Great little beach. It was clean the water was nice and it was well taken care of. I highly recommend.

It’s small and quiet, not as crowded as other beaches with sandy area and a lot of rocks. Lifeguard always on duty. There’s a park right before it if your kids want to do both park and beach. Neighborhood street parking is available between 9-4!

I live a block from this beach and it is so peaceful and relaxing here. I have lived in the 14 story building on Loyola Avenue for 8-1/2 years and feel safe with a beautiful Lake Michigan view from my living and dining rooms..

Going there since early 1950's. Still clean and nice.
