Holiday Inn Corpus Christi Downtown Marina by IHG

Staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. The hotel is in a good location and the lobby is decent. The elevators need to be updated - they were slow and closed very fast-|to the point it became a safety hazard. The reason for my low rating is because this hotel is in dire need of repairs, upgrades, cleaning and maintenance. My room had a higher than normal amount of dust, the refrigerator had to be unplugged because it made loud noises, I found candy wrappers under the bed, the ceiling tiles are in bad shape, walls were dirty, and the heater barely worked,. Luckily, the sheets and towels were clean.|My stay was for business and was only for two days, otherwise I would’ve immediately checked out. Everything you read on the reviews about the rust, dust, and dated and old things in hotel is accurate! Believe it! If you must stay here bring disinfectant. IHG corporate I hope someone reads this - you should be grateful you have good staff at this hotel because that’s the best thing this hotel had to offer. This is such a good location being close the Marina, it’s worth investing in upgrades.

Positive: No issues with staff to checking in or out, comfortable stay and clean. great location and has a patio to sit out and enjoy the scenery. lastly, I am excited that there is now room service, recommend; chicken wings, chicken sandwich and salmon plate. Negative: my main disappointment is the bolted locked balconies. to not be able to hear the waves at night and sit on the balcony is a disappointment that i can not get over. For the first time the comforter was separating and ripped up.

My room was okay bedding was nice and comfortable. The bathroom really small. My shower head had water spraying out the back of it. The shower head clearly needs to be changed out for a new one. The tub was also clogged so I was standing in water and there was a ring of dirt around the tub that could have been removed so I cleaned it myself. It was rust in the tub as well as coffee stains on my bathroom door that did not get cleaned. My coworkers said they had no AC for the first night. We were there and had to sleep in hot rooms even though they knew booking had been made over a month in advance. They weren't ready for the amount of people who stayed at their hotel. They were fully booked but have been having AC problems since January and still hadn't got them under control. My suggestion stay somewhere else until they figure things out. Location is beautiful. You can see the water. You also don't have access to the balconies. They were sealed shut. So there was no option to get a breeze to go through the rooms that had no AC. If you stay here stay on the end rooms instead of the middle so you don't have AC problems. Also the breakfast is $14 which we didn't realize until after we were eating. So do be aware that you do have to pay for the breakfast area.

This Holiday Inn does not meet the usual Holiday Inn standards at all. The rooms were extremely dirty, clearly not properly cleaned, which was very disappointing and uncomfortable. Breakfast is not free, and even worse, the quality is very poor and absolutely not worth the extra cost. This was unexpected for a Holiday Inn property. Parking is also not free, which was another negative surprise. On top of that, the parking area and common surroundings were full of trash, and there were homeless people inside the property, which made us feel unsafe. Overall, this hotel feels neglected and poorly managed. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you expect the standard quality associated with the Holiday Inn brand. Stay away from this location.

I had arrived on this past Friday and I had Nora for my reaction representative. She was an amazing hand in getting everything situated for me and my friends. The hotel was wonderfully placed for everywhere we wanted to go and our stay was amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful team to make a relaxing stay

It was ok our floor smelled like weed and toilet waste. On our floor I walked bare foot and happend to find needles , burrs so I had to keep shoes on most of the time. And our shower water skulled my body hot ! For days I wasn't able to shower. Our windows are dirty so looking out to see the beautiful water was difficult a bit. The parking was well over priced . And we couldn't fit our truck at the hotel so we had to park across the street. No discount nothing. Definitely have stayed at better locations and cleaned much better.

I’m in love with the Bartender at the hotel motel HOLIDAY INN ✨Jayna is absolutely wonderful! She is friendly, energetic and a great time! Her mixed drinks are delish! When you come stay here she makes you feel like a regular 🎁✨ Holiday Inn is the best place to stay Downtown…. Shoutout to Zach the GM, he is incredibly professional and very accommodating! Great atmosphere all the way around!
