Sloth Beach

Nice beach, no amenities but it's clean. Park rangers pass often in the morning, looking for turtle tracks. Good if you want a quiet day at the beach: algae, seagulls, egret , starlings, stilts and brown pelicans. One caveat: watch for black small patches on the surf line, these are heavy oil (tar) and are hard to clean from clothes.

It's better when it's not over crowded for me personally.

Was great, clean, calm and no issues

A quiet and safe NPS beach, great for overnight stays because of the beauty and lack of light polution. It is completely free and you don't need to worry about buying passes to access the "free" camping. The only negative is cellular Internet comes and goes randomly. There are NO services in the area. The good news is the park rangers do patrol the park. When I came the night before, two rangers were dealing with someone on the beach. The NPS land is easy to determine, there are buried pilings at either end.
