McKenna Park

Nice clean new children park with lots of equipments. Not very crowded and parking spaces are less. There’s lot of trees surrounding causing less light during dusk. There’s a small shaded pavilion with two benches. Careful on the sharp turn in that long slide - children might get hurt in their elbow as the turn is too sharp. There’s no light in the playground.

Nice small park with basketball court and children's playing area. Two summer huts are also available with BBQ grills. The only problem is there is no restroom around here.

Great place to stop and have a picnic and playtime. There's a small covered pavilion with a few tables. There were giant rocks and play areas for different ages. Lots of grassy areas to play soccer or football. Be aware that there are no restrooms!!! Which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Use to play here MANY years ago as a kid. Area has changed a lot, so had park. The sitting areas are nice and shaded, park has been touched up to plastic equipment from the metal and concrete I remember as a kid. No shade for the actual kids play area, dead snack in the middle of heat. Plastic so hot it burnt my granddaughter when she played on it. Brand new parking lot, though.

It looks like they have done a lot of recent work on it, and it has a brand new playground. It has multiple ziplines, including one with a chair. There are three playgrounds, including a really good one for beginning toddlers. The only drawbacks I saw were that there is hardly any parking, no path from the new playground to the old one, and no garbage cans or picnic tables by the new playground.

It's a beautiful park in a cool location. Only problem is there isn't a lot of shade here on a warm day. The best thing for sure is the updated equipment that was recently installed. I recommend for families but only when it isn't too sunny or hot

We drove passed this heading to a rabbit rescue and had to stop by on our way back. My kids could have stayed and played for hours. They have a playground for the bigger kids and one for the little kids as well as some swings. The ground surrounding it have some amazing trees! My only complaint is the lack of a bathroom.
