Capitol Hill Mansion Bed & Breakfast Inn

It was awesome! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there. The room was great, the breakfasts were outstanding, and we really enjoyed getting out of the typical hotel stay. This was homey, evoking the feeling of what it would have been like 100 years ago. Carl and his daughter were great! We stayed there for three nights, and it could not have been better.

Staying at the Capitol Hill Mansion was like stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts you could want. This 1891 ruby sandstone mansion is absolutely stunning and ideally located—just a short walk from the Colorado State Capitol and the Denver Art Museum. The historic architecture is preserved beautifully, making for a truly unique and formal B&B experience in the heart of Denver.

Location, cleaness, and hospitality are all excellent! Carl is a wonderful host. The place to stay to visit Denver!

Perfect for a romantic getaway! Stunning historic building! The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and walkable. We saw a show at the Fillmore and felt safe walking there and back. Carl, the owner, was gracious and served an amazing breakfast! The egg souffle was just perfect & the coffee was excellent! We loved the whole experience and would definitely stay here again! ❤️

It was fabulous. The accommodations were beyond expectations and so tastefully done. The morning breakfasts were incredible, well presented, and the French Press coffee endless. It was also such a warm atmosphere where we were able to share experiences and tales with very interesting guests.

Always a great experience. Breakfast is always excellent and dietary restrictions are always taken into consideration. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. Truly a pleasure to stay here!

I chose the balcony room with a jetted soaking tub. It was the perfect getaway. Breakfast in the patio garden was even more amazing and tasted so yummy. Overall the experience and hospitality of Carl was the best.
