Jennings Beach has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 1474 reviews on Google
I found this eminently jog walkable along for beach front with a nice boardwalk. It was more accessible than cloistered St Mary's by the Sea with it's unclear even tense parking situation. Jennings is the place to park with ample space and peace of mind, no friction at all, no sweat (except for the sweat work you do while on the jog walk).
A great beach that attracts crowds every season of the year. The sand gets groomed regularly, dogs are allowed (Fall-Spring), there’s plenty of parking and there’s a great playground for kids.
Jennings Beach is honestly one of those hidden gems you don’t hear much about but end up loving once you’re there. I went recently and stayed until nighttime—and I got lucky enough to witness fireworks by the beach. The atmosphere was calm, families were enjoying themselves, and the whole place had a peaceful, welcoming vibe. The sand was clean, and the shore stretched wide enough that it didn’t feel crowded at all. I found a perfect spot to sit and relax without being bothered by too many people, which is a big plus for me. Watching the sunset transition into fireworks over the water made the experience unforgettable. There’s also something really special about how quiet and safe the area feels, even at night. I noticed a lot of families and kids playing freely, which gave the place a very community-friendly energy. It’s rare to find beaches that are both clean and feel secure in the evening hours. If you’re planning a peaceful day out or want to surprise someone with a simple yet memorable experience, Jennings Beach is a top choice. Bring a blanket, grab your favorite snacks, and just enjoy the view. Have you ever watched fireworks at a beach before? Because this moment will stay with me forever.
Nice public beach. Calm water and very suitable for families with little kids. I would still prefer Penfield beach with is adjacent to Jennings simply because Penfield has less rocky sand and it is a little more tolerable for the feet. Both beaches have nice vibe and family atmosphere. Mostly there are identical.
Went to go watch the fireworks, I didn’t drive so it was completely free for me. Huge beach, I loved it. The concession stand was open and it was packed with people having a good time. I imagine it would be calmer one a different day. Edit: beware of ticks I brought one home with me
Pretty beach! We went in the off season so we didn't have to pay for parking and there was pretty much no one else around. Although it was a gray day, editing worked its magic and it looks like the most refreshing beach there is. Loved all the kayaks and boats on the beach. Just a cool spot to take photos.
Clean, peaceful cool water beach. At first there is a lot of shelves and small rocks yet once you walk in there is very Soft sand underneath the waters Not 5 start due to -Entrance is pricy for my taste. $50.000 per car in the weekend. Not crowded Parking is a minute walk to the beach, comfortable to carry your beach items with you. There is showers, restrooms Small cafeteria to buy fast food and drinks
