Fort DeRussy Beach Park

Fantastic beach and park! There are grills and picnic tables...perfect for gatherings! Great pickle ball courts with a nice mix of regular players and visitors. Perfect place for sunset and Friday Night Fireworks. Also, great bar on the beach!

Great location to set up for the day. Lots of space on the beach. A variety of beach activities always going on including beach volleyball and pickleball. Several places sell drinks, chairs, umbrellas and snacks. Beach has soft sand and the water is quite calm. Not a lot to see while snorkeling but that doesn't take away from this spot.

Great little park for birding in Waikiki! Easy to find Ring necked parakeets, waxwings, saffron finches, cattle egrets, mynas, jungle fowl, terns, bulbuls, zebra doves, pigeons, and Javan sparrows (we also saw Pacific plovers but those are seasonal)!

A Nice area to watch birds and specially the sunset. Pickleball courts have a great demand. Showers and toilets are close to the beach. The museum entrance is on Kalia road. This provides a shortcut from the Hilton Hawaiian Village resort to Waikiki.

This park has a lot to offer. Whether you're just here for a stroll along the beach, looking for open play pickleball with the beach behind you, or just to enjoy the sunset, this park have those and more to offer. A very popular place with great vibes and memories to last.

This is an awesome place to visit if you are wanting an awesome ocean view, to see the sunset, or even playing pickleball with all that has been mentioned above!! This was a gem for my husband and I to find since we always travel with our paddles and are constantly on the lookout for courts wherever we go. We played a couple of games and if we got too hot, we just jump in the ocean!!! We got the perfect trifecta: pickleball, ocean background, and an amazing sunset view!!! Oh just an FYI... there is a mini tiki bar there were you can purchase drinks while your playing or ocean-sunset viewing 🤗

Very clean beach with a Steak Shack on the side. We had a lot of fun here. Plus on Friday nights they have a Fire works show.
