Kuhio Beach

Most popular and easiest beach to go in Oahu. It is not the most clean and beautiful but because this beach is right in the front of Waikiki, you can just walk there and enjoy almost everything. The beach is totally city vibe so if you can't stand being crowded you might have to come super early or late night, but you won't see anything or if you rent a car you can go to another beach that more private. Overall, I like it. so lively and festive.

Walk straight out from your hotel #Marriott across the street directly to the beach? YES PLEASE. Even though there were lots of people, there was plenty o-space. It was our first beach experience visiting Hawaii on Day 1, no regrets... although we enjoyed visiting the more private less crowded Ala Moana beach on consecutive days 2 & 3!

Great beach at a great location. The water was calm and the crowd was thick. Walking distance to an abundance of entertainment, shopping and dining. Picturesque views in all directions. Plenty of shade under the gorgeous trees.

The water is clear and there are many shops nearby, so it is convenient to use.

Beautiful beach with very attentive life guards. Be cautious by the opening in the wall to the sea as there’s a strong rip tide at that point. The beach is clean and well looked after. It’s a very busy spot but worth an hour or so to explore and enjoy the calm section of the water protected by the wall.

We really enjoy going here as it has a water break and makes for a nice swimming area. The beach area is clean and has nice sand. There is a safety officer that walks up and down the beach to keep an eye on things. There are also lots of resturants and stores close by for snacks.

Attached to Waikiki Beach, this is where the hula mound is for free shows. Some shade available under the trees and plenty of food options across the street. Recommend sunscreen and water.
