Alief-Amity Park

My family and I love this park, it is very nice to play with the children and it is also safe for them, very quiet and has a lot of space! And play area. My children enjoy it every time we go here. You can also make your roast meat there!

I come to this park to rollerskate and shoot around. Here at 10am there's no one here. The restrooms are clean enough for a lady to potty comfortably... and the basketball court is covered. Nice breeze and a great workout on the weekends

Basketball court, playground for the kids, plenty of benches, and a lot of open space for walking and picnics. The football and baseball fields surrounding the south side of the park are for Alief school district, but taking a walking tour around the school is a fun activity. No public restrooms, only port-a-potties at the entrance of the park.

Basketball goals, Pavilion, Space to throw a football and host an event. I was their for an event and they had bouncy houses, food cooking, barbers, etc. It was big enough to not feel crowded.

Alief-Amity Park is a charming little gem, more of a picnic park than a traditional one, and it’s perfect for gatherings and outdoor relaxation. You’ll also find benches every few feet, often shaded under the trees, providing lots of cozy spots to sit and relax. The covered basketball court is another highlight. It’s bright, safe, and versatile—ideal not just for basketball but also for workouts like jumping rope or light exercises without disturbing players. When I visited with my dog, the atmosphere was lively, with people playing on the court and others enjoying their workout routines. The park also has clean and spacious bathrooms, which are a great addition for those hosting picnics or events. However, the parking lot feels a bit tight, especially considering how many picnic spots and party areas the park offers. Overall, Alief-Amity Park is a cute and functional boutique park that’s perfect for picnics, family gatherings, or just a relaxing day outdoors. If you’re planning a picnic or a casual event, this park is a fantastic choice!
