Huntington State Beach

Can't say enough about this beautiful location. Ive lived here now for 2 years, I ride the boardwalk several times a week. Super well maintained, several great spots to grab a drink or good food. I definitely feel extremely fortunate to have this area just a 15 minute bike ride from my home.

10.3.25: Flew down to visit a friend who lives here and we had lunch on the beach at Na Ka Oi. Afterwards, we attempted to walk the infamous pier but because it was the pre day to the air show, we were told it was closed. My friend said last year it wasn't closed the day prior and that she walked the pier, so go figure. That didn't stop me from enjoying the sunshine, toes in the sand, beach waves, and a mini air show as the planes were doing practice runs. It wasn't as crowded as I expected but there was a pretty good amount of people on the beach and in the water. There were a field of volleyball nets, but oddly enough not a single person was out there playing. I noticed a lot of police and beach patrol, but I attribute that to the air show activity.

Nice beach. Fairly clean. Very quiet. Still doing well after years. Easy parking. Nice place to relax and people watch. Can't complain!

Beautiful sunset observation location. Great place for the kids to come and enjoy some sand and Pacific Ocean. Not overly crowded here. Short drive from Disney. Has bathrooms if needed and a pay to enter location so it’s not full of rowdy ruffians.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place. If you need a little peace and quiet during the chaos of everyday life, I would recommend catching a sunset here.

There was a band playing and a volleyball tournament. Lots of people were there. We got in the cold water! It was fun! Very powerful waves so take care of you decide to get in. My son seen a fish we thought it was a baby shark and we all ran out! We are not really sure but where's baby shark I'm sure momma shark is not far! We let the lifeguard know just in case all she said was cool! Had a great time . Bought a outdoor decoration piece? Do t know the name guys sorry but it's in the photos.
