Eichelman Park

So pretty! Great views and activities to do around the park. Plenty of fun. The beach was nice! Water is still cold lol but very beautiful nonetheless!

Serenely beautiful place. Walking areas that are friendly to all ages. Abundance of park benches so you can take in the view. Pet friendly park and lots of space for children and there's a play area as well.

Great shoreline! Pretty, dog/kid friendly beach with public bathrooms and free street parking.

Now that I've been back many times I can be more detailed. I love the trails, the fauna, the wildlife here. Most of the people you come across are friendly, and that could be due in part to the atmosphere. The beach is nice and well-kept, there are often neat sailboats to see. I've changed my rating system since we can't do decimals, 3 starts is very good for me. Worth a visit. Nice views of Lake Michigan.

We love this quiet beach. It’s usually just a few families at a time, and there are bathrooms and swings for the kids to play on. I like seeing the joggers and the dogs walking along the lakefront. We generally find easy parking on the street and bring snacks to eat at one of the picnic tables. The sand is clean and soft and the beach isn’t very rocky.

We have made this our go to beach/park after our first visit here 3 years ago. Great place to pack a lunch and/or bbq. The beach is right next to the park area making it easy to take a dip or stick your feet in the sand almost immediately. They have bathrooms with flushing toilets, and a play area fully equipped with swings and slides. On the fourth of July they have a wonderful fireworks display along with vendors and a carnival during the day before the show starts.
