Aliso Beach

Absolutely loved this beach, at this time of year not so many tourists, and not so busy it was great to get grounded in Mother Earth & just be in present to enjoy the majestic view & feel the waves. Water was cold but amazing and the waves were amazing people out surfing & just chilling.

Simply, a stunning a place to spend the day on the Pacific Coast. Family friendly. Kids loved finding sand crabs. Close restrooms, although they were very dirty. We did arrive mid-afternoon and had to spend an hour looking for parking. Also, there are only 2 fire pits, and people arrive very early in the morning hours to stake their claim. For rentals, you'll need to make a reservation 24hrs. in advance, so plan accordingly.

Less crowded place, lots of photographers though

Easy public parking (and inexpensive- I want to say it was $2/hr!). We had our 91 year old grandmother with us and getting to the beach was easy for her too. There were open public benches that we sat at while the kids played by the water. We didn’t realize we were not supposed to walk in the rocks or be near the water, but the lifeguards were very polite. It was a nice day at the beach!

Still a beautiful beach. It has a small parking lot that sometimes has spots open at off peak times of the day. Additional parking at the park across the street (use the pedestrian tunnel). Lots of happy memories here. This is a good spot to walk on the beach for a little while or to get a fire pit in the evening.

Such a wonderful family beach! Once again Aliso beach didn't disappoint. I recommend getting there early for a fire pit. Especially after September 7th as they only have two available but we got ours bright and early! Parking is easy and adorable and there is handicap parking as well. Dog friendly on a leash. Since we've moved from Cali we are going ro make this an annual visit.

It is a great beach. It is a wide and sloping beach with consistent clean sand, which is more corse and Not compacted. It's super easy to dig in. The slope gives great vista views of coast and ocean. We had Ring side view of large pod of dolphins. The great tide pool (Treasure cove) is close, with parking (2.50$/hr) .
