This hotel has a nice aesthetic, but unfortunately, the entire property smells strongly of smoke, which makes the stay unpleasant. The ventilation system clearly needs improvement. Be aware that the resort fee here is quite steep, even during the middle of the work week in winter. When I asked about the fitness facilities, I was told the resort fee only covers access to the cardio room—which is minimal at best. Access to the actual weight room costs an additional $75. In other words you pay $125 total just to use proper gym equipment. For guests who work out regularly, this setup is disappointing and feels unreasonable. The check-in process was also frustrating. The line was long, and although several staff members were present at the front desk, they seemed in no hurry to assist guests. The pace and attentiveness were far below what you’d expect from a property charging resort-level fees. While the hotel looks nice, the combination of poor air quality, excessive fees, and lackluster service makes it difficult to recommend. With a few operational improvements and more transparent amenity policies, this property could provide a much better guest experience.

Vegas Glam at a Vegas Price — Brace Your Wallet Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas Mandalay Bay is exactly what you expect from a big Strip resort — flashy, expansive, and dripping in Vegas energy. The rooms are genuinely large and well-appointed, the beds comfortable, and all the amenities you'd want are present and accounted for. The casino floor delivers that classic over-the-top spectacle that Las Vegas does better than anywhere in the world. The Catch: Everything comes at a price — and that price is steep. Then steeper again. A drink, a snack, parking, a resort fee, a bottle of water — it all adds up at a pace that would make your eyes water. This isn't unique to Mandalay Bay, but even by Strip standards it's noticeable. You'll need to budget generously just to exist here comfortably. If you're splashing out for a big Vegas experience and cost isn't a concern, Mandalay Bay delivers the goods. But if you're watching your spend, the inflated pricing on virtually everything can take the shine off an otherwise impressive property. Great resort — just go in with your eyes open and your wallet well padded.

Old hotel but still pretty comfortable. I came here for a work event and spent most of my time in the hotel. No big shops but they had a few Starbucks cafes and some pretty good food. Strip Steak was good so was the noodle cafe.

This used to be our favorite hotel. It is still a lovely location, rooms or OK, it is fairly clean. Pool is fun when it is open. Restaurants are all pretty good. However, the service has gotten to be ridiculous. Our trip was interrupted and we had to leave early and come back. We asked if they would partially credit us for the missed night and let us rebook for a night two days later. Pretty simple request, yeah? No...we booked through Chase so they said to ask them, we asked Chase and they said ask the hotel, so then I got Chase to call and talk to them, they said to send and email and wait 10-15 days for a reply. A simple request turned into an hour on the phone. It would have been better to just say we have a no refund/credit policy for missed nights, no exceptions, rather than the hours long back and forth. This is how AI will take over customer service. You all are costing yourselves your jobs by not being willing to use common sense to make simple decisions that make customers come back. Since they wouldn't work with us at all we are just going to stay somewhere else when we get back. It definitely felt like, "we got your money already so we don't care". I don't think they even looked at our history to see that we stay almost every year and spend thousands of dollars there.

Positive: The hotel was very nice. Incredibly clean, large rooms. So many amenities to include a beautiful pool space. Negative: It is at the end of the stripBut the tram helps make up some of that difference.

Mandalay Bay is one of those Las Vegas resorts that truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels upscale, welcoming, and full of energy. The casino floor is spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with a huge variety of games. Whether you enjoy slots, video poker, or table games, there is always something exciting to play and plenty of room to move around. The employees are one of the biggest highlights. Everyone from the front desk to the casino staff treats you with genuine kindness and professionalism. You feel taken care of, and that makes the entire experience even better. Mandalay Bay also offers some of the best entertainment on the Strip. The shows are top quality, the venues are comfortable, and there is always something worth seeing. It is a resort that knows how to keep guests entertained from morning to night. One thing that deserves real appreciation is the free parking for veterans. It is a thoughtful gesture that shows respect and gratitude, and it sets Mandalay Bay apart in a city where parking can be a challenge. Between the beautiful property, the great casino floor, the friendly employees, and the strong entertainment options, Mandalay Bay delivers a complete Las Vegas experience. It is a place you can enjoy for a night out, a weekend stay, or a full vacation, and it consistently leaves a great impression.

Would not stay here again. It was a beautiful 80 degree day and we. Went to the pool after checking in but it was closed!! Room is spacious but that’s all it has going for it. You have to pay extra to use the keurig. The phone charger by the bed didn’t work. The toilet doesn’t have a fan. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors.
