Lake Park Picnic Area

I have been here twice and love the view. $10 entry per car, no alcohol, no glass and no loud music. There are picnic tables, trash cans, bathrooms, and several trees that provide great shade. Depending on the side of the lake you’re on there are more rocks and pebbles so I would suggest brining water shoes! Sometimes certain areas are closed off due to high waters. Overall, pretty great!

Good spot for kids and family. Grills all around and swim area for kids.

Having worst Easter thanks to you guys! We finally got in after 45 mins. Wait. No one told us there is no parking, no grill, no table available. After finally finding a table security came and said this part campers only. Btw still trying to find a table. I’ll let you know if I can find until next easter!

Free picnic area on Catfish Drive can’t be reserved. However, on Trotline Road there’s a large, fenced group picnic area that requires reservations, has the best grills and shade, and is always empty.

Feels like you in the sea, maybe because it's a windy day, don't know how often it gets windy. Should get a boat and spend some time here. Lake is very big.

10 dollars to get in. Beach closed. Rest rooms locked up and no porter John’s!!!

It is beautiful here, my kids really enjoyed themselves.
