Spring Harbor Beach Park

I love this park. I get my walks in. I go under University Avenue for safety. Plenty of Ample parking. Aurora borealis is very visible when the storms occur.

Spring Harbor Park is a hidden gem on Lake Mendota! It’s a small, peaceful park with a beautiful view, a sandy beach, and convenient restrooms. My wife and I launched our kayaks here and had a great time out on the water. There’s parking just across the street, which made access easy. Perfect spot for a quiet paddle, a quick swim, or a lakeside picnic. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful but very small area. There are two picnic tables and a very small beach. There really wasnt a place to sit and enjoy the view in the shade so we did not do more than walk down and turn around.

Nice little local beach that's only good to bring little kids or pets. I wouldn't recommend getting in the water though, lots of algae floating about. Good place to BBQ or just sit down and relax.

Small beach but nice area. You have good views of the lake. There's parking across the street in a small lot.

Nice quiet place to enjoy God's beauty

Small sandy beach on the banks of Lake Mendota. We made sand castles and dipped our toes in the cold May water. This spot is near the Spring Harbor Boat Launch. Parking across the street.
