Firemen's Park

This park is centered around several man-made ponds and canals. They have several trails that weave through the waterways. They have rentals for taking recreational paddle boats and canoes. Restrooms are available and a pavilion with a restaurant overlooking the waterways. I saw many types of ducks and birds here. They have a small island in the center and the bridge that connects is a locket bridge with hundreds of locks on the rails. The only drawback here was, it was not as clean with some trash along the walkways. I also noticed this park is right next to a big trucking company and you could smell the diesel smoke fumes. Overall a nice park.

Great place to go with family, BBQ, or simply enjoy the day by the man-made lake and ducks that have made this park their habitat and home. It is also next to the Col. Rowe bike trail that goes for miles along 2nd St. The DraftHouse restaurant is by the lake, with an opening into a sand area where children can build sand castles or just run around. Over all, a great place to enjoy the outdoors.

Great place for a walk , and to meet new people , pet friendly in a great community.

Great place to walk or just relax. Plenty of space to just sit and stare at the lake/ducks, there are also kayaks for rent and a playground for kids. The only kinda bad thing would be the remains of dog poop on the sidewalk but you can clean it easily on the grass so its not that bad of an issue.

Paths around the park are very walkable. You will be greeted by ducks, many ducks. It was closed when I was there, but I imagine it is packed during the summer with families.

Ver beautiful park with many things to do, lots of ducks, great to go on a date too. I would've given it a 5 star but since I had put a lock with my partner in the bridge (there's many of those) and idk who but they took our lock out. Very sad :((

Nice family park. Several families enjoying the nice weather and scenery. I caught a little bass. Catch and release!
