Since it’s close to my home, I usually use Lummus Park for morning walks. During the day, people-watching is enjoyable, and in the late afternoon there’s a calm, distinctly South Beach vibe. It can get crowded during tourist hours, but locals know exactly when to come. Rather than a "must-see" spot, it’s a balanced and pleasant place whose value you appreciate more as you live with it.
Our favorite place in Miami. My wife and I walk around this park daily to enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and sea breeze. The park offers a beautiful beach, palm trees, and Art Deco buildings. They highlight the lively and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for people-watching, biking, jogging, and enjoying the Miami vibes. They also have very clean facilities, outdoor workout stations, and plenty of space for picnics and volleyball. Two public restrooms are available. Extremely clean and well maintained. This is a very good area for a family picnic.
Great little spot to take the gamily! Nikki bar serves drinks and food, super friendly! Highly reccomend great spot for families! Also fishing spots available le! Plenty of parking!
Beach was clean . Soft sand beach . Water was clear and perfect temperature. October off peak so it was not crowded. This was off 10th street. I felt safe . I was not looking at my lounge chairs constantly when I was in the water. I was here about 3hr and 90% of it i was in the water.
The 2026 National Championship was in Miami this year and they held a free concert weekend. The fencing and security was overrun on the first night due to overwhelming crowds and limited capacity enforced by the event. We walked right in on Xandra’s last set and saw John Summit and Calvin Harris. They also had a drone show in between sets and fireworks to conclude the first night. This is the best way to experience Miami Beach.
I love being by the beach and seeing cruise ships sail across the water. The beach is absolutely amazing and is close to lots of things.
One of our favorite places in the city! My wife and I come to this park frequently to ride our bikes, walk along the beach, and simply enjoy nature. In the morning, the water is crystal clear — it’s truly beautiful. There are several great restaurants nearby where you can grab a delicious breakfast after your walk or ride. The park is extremely safe, with plenty of lifeguards and police officers around. It really gives you peace of mind, especially if you’re visiting with family. There’s also a bike rental station right by the entrance, which makes it super convenient if you don’t bring your own. We love how clean and well-maintained everything is. It’s the perfect spot to relax, exercise, or spend quality time outdoors. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys the beach and a peaceful atmosphere.
