Lake Harriet North Beach

Not the cleanest area but it’s a great place to stop by and relax while walking. Saw a duck.

Love the energy at North Beach on Lake Harriet no matter the season. Large beach and friendly lifeguards in season. Oh, and check out The Magic Hole in winter!

Polluted but not as bad as down south. Good place to hang out or walk around the lake but don’t swim in sewage period.

Great entrance when swimming in Minneapolis at Lake Harriet. It's a busy area which keeps things safe. Well lit up area. Parking is for North Beach is right next to a portable restroom. If you're a cold water swimmer, the Harriet Magic Hole is magical in the xold winter months. Look for the waiver to participate in that. Love Minnesota!

Lake water quality varies greatly and the beach is closed often due to poor water conditions. Check before swimming.

There is a small sandy area with a roped off swim area, and life guard on duty. Other areas may have been nicer

I loved it; it was so fun. Lots of tiny fish and 12 ducks.
