I've spent countless hours here relaxing on the beach and hammocking with my love. I miss those days of hanging out, smoking, drinking, listening to music, and swaying gently back and forth without a care in the world. I hope to someday share this serene jewel of Minneapolis with my daughter.
Best beach in Minneapolis I've been to as of yet! Bring the bug spray if you plan on walking in the woods. Or simply take the stairs to the sandy beach!
Nice sandy spot on the banks of the Mississippi River in the heart of Minneapolis.
Great hidden beach. No services. No lifeguard. Pack your trash out. OK for small fires. Great swimming. Smooth current. Mississippi River. Not crowded

Terrible place. Very bad. Overcrowded, long walk, steep hills, lots of steps, no fun! Please do not come here. It is not a good spot. Like a German sausage, this place is just the wurst. Please avoid.
Water feels dirty. Sand is nice, nice access by the stairs off River parkway. Great views very few people during the day
