Veteran's Memorial Park and Marina

Clean, spacious, and peaceful. Great marina and plenty of activities for everyone.

Great place to have a picnic or just have a walk around

Had a relaxing picnic and stroll on a perfect weather day. It was much needed. The views were beautiful. Pathways need work, as many were devastated but we hike in the mountains so we didn't mind it

Large waterfront park with lots of grassy areas, jogging/walking paths, two baseball diamonds and some basketball courts. A few nice sculptures and some fact posters around the park. It was very quiet (only a few cars) there when I visited on a Friday, mid-morning. Lots of parking spaces but non-Norwalk residents must pay the $6 parking fee to park at all time. Parking can be paid using the ParkMobile app. Might be more worth it for locals who come regularly to jog/walk...but I can't say the $6 fee is worth it for visitors unless they have other interested there...i.e. attending a game.

I enjoy my early morning walks in solitude. There are occasional dog walkers who can’t read the signs posted. But, a great place to walk in the early mornings, afternoons, the evenings can be a bit noisy when men gather at the park to drink beer and play loud music 🎶. I never had an incident from them. They are just blowing off some steam after a long day at work, I guess. Beautiful scenery.

the pavement isn't well maintained, and the grass near the beach is ragged, but somehow it feels more like the park is reclaiming itself from our attempts to tame it. great place to just hang out, and when i bike through it I always see people in groups of ten or twenty doing just that. great views, especially of storms coming in, and equally great views of the train bridge behind you. bring extra for others you meet, build community. or not. i can't speak for the marina, too rich for my blood.

This Park is fine but does need some sidewalk improvements along the walkways
