Public Beach Access 2

Small beach access from the road, but definitely worth it! Beautiful white beach sands with tons of shells! We seen dolphins jumping out of the water, we even seen a shark surface just feet off the shore! There was no one on the beach when we were there and it was very calm and quiet! Great place to go to sit and relax with the family!

Great Long Beach , it’s nice that you can find public access around beaches. Sometimes all the beach houses block access. It’s nice this stretch has ample access. Long walking beach!

Tony and I went to Alligator Point Beach on the Gulf of Mexico today, August 12, 2022. It was sort of rainy, drizzling with choppy water and high winds. It was a mild 77 degrees. It was very nice!!!

Beautiful beach. Not a ton of parking and no bathrooms we could find. Sand is white!

Lots of big size shells and specimens of local marine life.. Beautiful sunsets.. secluded.. great for evening walkings.. [Edit 1] pleasant to beach walk during cloudy / stormy days.

Great public beach access with parking across the street. Dog friendly and plenty of beach to roam and look for shells.

Quiet, peaceful beach that allows dogs.... To a certain extent. Sand was white and beautiful, but, there was a lot of seaweed all over the beach, which in and of itself, isn't an issue (I'm from Texas & Galveston is much worse). Unfortunately, this particular day, the seaweed was covered in flies and gnats and something that was biting me all over my feet and legs. The water is brown but still translucent, sort of like iced tea... But again, I'm from Texas and Galveston is much worse. No bathrooms... Not even a port-o-potty. No shower at all so you're going to be tracking sand all over your car when you leave... Bring an extra jug of water to rinse off with! Closest bathroom is miles away. There is SUPER limited public parking but it is free... I'm talking 20-30 parking spots... ALL OTHERS PARKED ON ANY STREET WILL BE TOWED. They are not playing about that parking! Get there early. I personally will most likely not return because of the bug bites and the no bathroom/shower... But otherwise... It's very tolerable for a cheap, quick beach trip!
