Paradise Beach

The walk can be challenging, especially the incline from trails to beach. But the shallow sandy bottom and no current makes it safer than many other beaches. There are a lot of shells in the water here, so watch your step.

It definitely is a little walk to get there once you park but it's a nice quiet little place that you have a little beach and you got the water well I'm working you asked for.

Nice place to find a little strip of sandy shore amongst native plant life in winter and spring. More open spaces in summer when the water is lower. There are plenty of trails to walk. There are beaver fences up right now, so access is a little more limited in some places. Evening dog walking seems to be popular. Near a park with a sports field and tennis courts. I saw restrooms, but I didn't use them.

Its ok.. lots of bee's out there and they bug you the whole time your there lol. Other than that its ok out there.

It wasn't as close as it said it was I didn't know where it was honestly it was hard to find the location and I didn't believe there were any grills but I did find that the park had a grill so it worked out

Fantastic park with lots of trails to explore, great beaches for hanging out and a generally fun and safe place. Things to know: depending on where you walk to once you enter the area you may wind up walking a half mile to reach the water; though you will see scattered remains of fires here - please do NOT make fires in this area, there are no established fire rings anywhere and the brush around the area is very dry for ~8 months out of the year and just waiting for an errant spark to start a runaway fire; not technically an off leash area, but there are lots of well-behaved dogs who wander freely with their owners.
