Butterbean Beach

Great place to picnic, let kids wade in the water, watch boats go by, and enjoy the sun go down. Beware: very muddy Had a nice mud treatment on my feet! Lots of boats in and out so felt safe. We got there via dinghy and had a nice dock to tie up to. We ordered food to be delivered there via Uber. Had a nice dinner there.

We are 2.5hrs from Savannah area. Did a visit to Savannah landings without our boat in advance to check several out. Butterbean was by far the best. Restrooms, bait shop, 2 wide ramps on deep water, pavilion, picnic tables and plenty of boaters/guests at ramp area that help you feel secure. Isolated ramps can be a little sketchy. We will be bringing the Xpress boat soon!

The best quiet get away spot in Savannah. On the hottest days of the summer, you can always go here and the breeze is always blowing.

I loved watching the goofy sand crabs. ( Hey I'm from the Midwest)Don't look for a sandy ocean beach. But it was a neat place. In March pleasure to to get some sun and see water. Enjoyed watching the kayaks. Only one picnic table to sit on by the water. There is a pavilion. Plenty of parking.

My family enjoys coming here for relax!

Small beach like swimming area in the river. Ample parking, picnic area, covers pavilion, and boat ramp.

Love this place of peace.. It’s always been a special place if go to relax or enjoy the scene. Sometimes you can see dolphins!!
