Colman Park Beach

Absolutely breathtaking views and such a very peaceful feeling. We arrived here just after visiting Cobains memorial bench and I felt this wave of peace here at this park. I don’t know if his ashes were spread here at all but man the peaceful feeling is so profound here, it was nice. Also noticed an orb, possibly two in my photo I took, it is just above my family. Very interesting, yet cool.

Very cute spot with views all around Lake Washington including Bellevue, Seward Park and even Mount Rainier when it's clear enough.

To be honest I don't think there is a lot going on here in Colman Beach. It does have a parking lot so you can use it as the starting point of your activities around. Take the trail to go inside the park. Personally I prefer the Mt Baker Beach just a couple of minutes' walk down south, the view is better and it actually feels like a park, with a swimming area, and a public restroom

Not an overwhelming amount of parking but I've always found a spot. Beautiful views of I-90 and Mercer island, of course. And as with all parks in this area, flawless maintenance. Garbage cans available.

Wonderful park along the water, and it was a great place for us to sit down and watch Seafair last weekend. Perfect spot for viewing the hydroplane races and the air show!

Nice beach access, rhere are nicer though. We went to watch the seafair, it wasnt too crowdy
