Gorgeous views of Mount Tahoma and the water. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, was very quiet and peaceful. A few people were having a picnic near the globe. Definitely recommend if you need a place to rest, read, or meditate.
The view is very nice, watch out for the goose poo!
It's a beautiful use of a little space of land under the bridge and down to the water. Turned into a park of sorts. It has some parking under the bridge. It has lawnscaped grass and trees. A cement bulkhead where the little beach is formed at low tide. Paved walking area along the water to the small boat dock atea. No public bathrooms. A view of a marina. A small multi business building with private customer parking and private (not for public use) bathroom. area. There is street parking.
Hidden gem, love this park. They have a large grass area where u can throw the ball for your pup, then they have a little beach area that you can walk and find creatures as the tide goes out!
Small park, interesting history, nice spot but not particularly big nor is there really significant walking adjacent. Nice views of the seaport area. Some probable homeless people in cars/campers etc under bridge area made it so I wasn't hugely comfortable lingering overly long.
Lovely little waterfront park featuring a grassy lawn, walking paths, a little rocky beach, and interpretive signs about the history and the park's namesake. Google Thea Foss if you're interested, she was an incredible woman. There's not much parking, but probably enough for a park this size. No permanent restrooms that I saw, but there were some portapotties, and probably more in the nearby dock buildings. Railroad tracks are nearby on one side, and the port in the distance on the other, so it can be loud here at times.
Peaceful..not crowded...great place to unwind, take a break from it all. You can actually see Mt Rainier from here.
