Lakewood Park Beach

We loved it, my 2 girls and I went for Easter egg hunt. Loved the tiny beach. The slides and swings were great.

The park overall is beautiful and very large, but the beach is very dirty and that's why it's not getting 5 stars.

It's an okay spot for hanging out. The lake is nice for taking a walk on a sunny day. Looks really pretty in autumn. The locals are split 50/50 about swimming in the lake. Some people would never, while others see nothing wrong with taking a dip. There's a basketball and handball court nearby also.

This park is so beautiful, but not appreciated. It has a new playground, which is a +, but the beach is always close, due to contamination so no swimming there. I went a few times and didn't feel safe there! It does have a lot of things to do and plenty of parking. I just wish it was kept more clean.
