Public Beach Access #6

Beautiful beach. Unfortunately, this year, for our beach trip, it seems like people have lost all care and consideration for others. There have been multiple dogs on the beach at all times of day, and people smoking. I guess the rules don't apply to everyone, and consideration of others has gone out the window. Wish Wrightsville would enforce their rules better.

Currently around 1/27/24, they are doing some maintenance up the beach aways, and you can hear the tractors beeping and see the forbidden ocean fountain. If you want to be less distracted rbed I would suggest further down towards the fishing pier, Access #18-15 or thereabouts. However, still was beautiful. At first it was foggy, then it cleared up an hour later, and don't even get me started on the seashells! Do NOT leave your vehicle without a bag for shells and a bag for trash. Also, my aunt said apparently you don't have to pay for parking in the off months...which I didn't know was a thing and the app gladly took my money so thats a bummer...but do your own research regarding that. But yes, the seashells! They were so amazing! And the water was cold but I walked in it for about an hour and it was delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed my time at this beautiful Wrightsville beach! Oh! Leaving! It was a nightmare! There's this one part of road, and I consider myself to be a pretty decent driver...I simply had no clue what was going on. Cars were just going wherever and whenever. So...yeah, look into that too so you're prepared. Enjoy!

My now ex-boyfriend and I were repeatedly sexually harassed by multiple women on this beach. Y'all need to learn some basic respect

No showers at this one but the swim to the sand bar before high tide is easy.
