W.P. Franklin North Campground

We booked site 12 for 5 nights and it’s very nice! The way the site is angled gives us plenty of privacy and excellent view of Dam and waterfront! Lots of birds in the tree just outside our window of RV and perfect location to watch the Sunrise and the Sunset daily! Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Bath house has 3 toilets and 3 showers and the water gets good and hot with great water pressure. Bathroom is very clean. At night we heard Tarpon jumping in the river and birds and Chicken-Ducks slept the night in the grassy area by the water right in front of our RV. This location has plenty of large trash dumpsters and we loved they also do Recycling! First campground in a month traveling South Florida East Coast to West Coast to find anyone doing Recycling! Highly recommended!

Very well kept, friendly staff, clean facilities. We had wonderful sunset views and a gorgeous sunrise on the water. Campsite was spacious and plenty of foliage between the next unit. A great great campground for anglers and calm/quiet. Plenty of space to walk the pups for such a small island. We'll be back!

Nice campground with water/electric at each spot. Two restrooms with hot showers that are well maintained. Fishing off pier & boat ramp available. Grounds are very clean & well maintained.

Beautiful campground! Wonderful and caring staff! We love staying here! You can fish from your campsite and they have a boat launch. The bathrooms are very clean. The campsites have a picnic table and fire pit there.

Beautiful and peaceful campground. Shouldn't say that though, should say loud and awful because it's very hard to find an open spot here. Go away! You won't like it

What a gem of a park! There are approximately 35 campsites and they are immaculately kept. There's a water view from almost every camp site, covered picnic tables, firepit rings, and the bath houses were very clean. We will be staying here again for sure.
