My husband and I are just leaving this campground. We found in it exactly what we were looking for. The bathhouse is immaculate, the campground is extremely quiet and the view from our site was so peaceful. There are geese that fly in every morning and play in the lake for the day. There are hawks that come out of a grove of trees that line the back of the grounds and fly overhead. Turtles’ heads will pop up occasionally in the lake, and we even saw a bunny hopping through the grass. The surroundings of the campground are not ideal, but from where we camped, our experience was perfect! We will be back!
Excellent park with big concrete pads. Lots of activities for the whole family. Beautiful lake offers some good views and fishing opportunities. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Laundry is clean and only $2.50/load wash or dry.
My wife and I were looking for a quick, relaxing getaway and decided to try out Natalbany Creek, just 1.5 hours from home. We arrived on a Thursday and stayed until Sunday, and it ended up being the perfect spot for us to unwind.||The check-in process was smooth and easy, with friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived at our spot, the manager, Ray, greeted us in his golf cart and offered assistance if we needed anything, which was a nice touch.||After setting up our camper, we noticed an ant pile near the entrance. I had forgotten my insect spray, so my wife called the desk. To our surprise, someone came out right away to take care of it for us. That kind of quick service really made a difference and was much appreciated!||Our trip was mostly spent relaxing around the campfire, enjoying some music, and cooking meals together. We also set up a hammock by the pond and had some drinks while soaking in the peaceful area by the pond. It was exactly what we were hoping for—a quiet and peaceful retreat.||Overall, our experience at Natalbany Creek was great. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the location provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend away. We’ll definitely consider returning for another getaway in the future!||I think this place has a new owner and is under new management!
We booked 2 sites for a weekend get away with our friends and family. I wanted something pretty close to home and didn't notice until we were getting ready to leave that you had to drive thru the truckstop parking lot to get to the campground. I was a little apprehensive but it was too late to make any changes. No apprehension was necessary! we couldn't hear the trucks or any noise from them! Overall the campground was quiet and peaceful but we did have one person staying in one of the mobile homes have a loud conversation outside of his trailer at 2am. If you're in an RV or travel trailer, you wouldn't have noticed but we were in tents so we could hear his conversation. Even with that minor inconvenience, we had a fantastic time and would consider coming back! If you're looking for a place to stop on your way through Louisiana, it's not too far from I-12 and it is really close to I-55 but not so close that Interstate road noise is an issue.
Chose this RV park as it was a late night/ early departure to pick up a horse and head back to Texas. Super easy to park our horse trailer and hook up. Loved the Dog area!!! Great lake to fish. Hope to visit again and enjoy more than a few hours. Super easy to pay online as we arrived at 9pm and left at 7am Super people...
We stayed at the RV park. It was great, very level, concrete pads and the hookups seemed newer and worked great. The staff is incredible. Everyone is really nice and very accommodating. The dog park is large and very clean.
The RV lots are large, spacious, and well maintained. All transactions could be done over the phone or in person. Easy to receive packages. Staff was great! I will stay there again when working in area.
