Oak Canyon Nature Center

I am really amazed and happy every time I am on vacation to USA because of the natural park. No such a things in my country. But here, they really take care of their natural beauty. This park is one of it. Loveeee 😍😍😍

Beautiful well maintained trails, a really wide range of difficulty within the small park and theres a lot of variety within the habitat from riparian to sage scrub. I would definitely recommend this are if you want a nice hike. Also the nature center itself is so cute and they have live animals who look well taken care of. The staff were really kind.

It’s a great place for hiking with children because it’s located in the middle of the city. On weekends, you can hear birds singing and the sound of a flowing stream, making it a perfect spot to relax and feel like you’re in nature.

Has a small playground and programs for the kids. Mostly a hiking destination although there is an area by the parking lot I haven't checked out. If available take an available map or a photo of the one there so you don't get turned around. Heard about a guy that turned it into a 7 mile hike.

Nice place to exercise or enjoy nature. All the trails are clearly marked and easy to follow. Some trails feel like you can get lost (stream trail ), but they all loop around and put you back at the beginning. No crowded before 10 am. Free parking. Free, but there is a donation box. Also, they have a center that open at 10 am. Two trails have steps different heights. Watch your step. And enjoy.
