Mystic Park

Had a blast ay the car show

This is a great place to get out and stretch your legs. There is a public restroom just of the two lane blacktop trail near the Billings water plant. I followed a dirt path from the blacktop toward the Yellowstone river where I enjoyed the view of the Rim Rock rising high above the water.

Another nice place close to home. They have recently paved the parking area, which is a plus. It is near the walking path that goes all the way through into the heights in Billings. A cool view from the river bank, the South Hills, and the Rimrocks come together here. Not alot of miles of adventure here, but enough room to step away from the busy life for just long enough.

I went fishing there and wasn't catching anything so I went rock hunting and found a bunch of different types of petrified wood and also a fossil

Cool scenery by the river. Not much to do here. Walked our dogs here on the bike path. Be aware of your surroundings because there are homeless communities near the river along the trails.

A secret treasure. This has been my families favorite river spot for 6 years. Although it was discovered during covid and is busier now it continues to be a hidden gem bc the best places are hard to get to.... my family is willing to push through for greatness...
