Great Escapes RV Park Austin Oaks

The Oaks: ||First and foremost I highly recommend this place. Jamie and Larry the owners of this RV Park are awesome hosts. I call Larry the hardest working man in Texas he is always doing something around the property. The sites are a good size and well maintained, the bath house has 4 individual private bathrooms with a shower. I didn’t use them everyday but the times I did use them they were immaculately clean. They also have a large pavilion with picnic tables, rocking chairs and grills. They have a laundromat with three washers and three dryers that worked well and were fairly priced. They hardpacked resurfaced the road on the front part of the property while we were staying there. You can pay for your site online if you want and it’s very simple and convenient. They also will text message you when you receive mail and packages. All this and you get to enjoy some nature, the property sits back a good ways off TX HWY 71 and you don’t get any road noise. |I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Jamie and Larry for doing it right.

🌟 My Experience at Great Escapes RV Resort – 1.5 Years In I’ve been staying at Great Escapes RV Resort for almost a year and a half, and I can confidently say it’s been a mostly positive and comfortable experience. Living here long-term has given me a good sense of the place beyond just a weekend stay. The grounds are well-maintained, and the staff has always been friendly, professional, and responsive to any issues. Whether it’s maintenance help, package delivery, or general questions, they’re quick to assist. The resort is very family-oriented, with lots of activities during the warmer seasons – pools, playgrounds, the water park, and scheduled events that make it great for kids and visiting family. I’ve also appreciated the quiet hours being mostly respected, which helps create a relaxing atmosphere. There have been a few areas for improvement — sometimes the amenities (like Wi-Fi or certain facilities) can be inconsistent depending on how busy the resort is. During peak seasons, things like the laundry room or restrooms can get a bit crowded or need more attention. But overall, management does a good job keeping up. If you’re looking for a place to stay short- or long-term with a good balance of fun, community, and comfort, Great Escapes is a solid choice. Absolutely loved our stay at Great Escapes! The park is beautifully maintained, with clean and well-landscaped sites. Our RV site was spacious, and the hookups were easy to connect to. The staff "Erika" was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. We appreciated the complimentary amenities like the pool, fireplaces, and bbq area. The park is also conveniently located near Bastrop TX and Austin TX, which made our day trips very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking for a great RV experience!

We had an amazing stay here! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire park was. The staff Erika was incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze and offering great recommendations for local attractions.

Needed a place to park my travel trailer after moving for a new job. The staff was extremely accommodating when trying to get me a spot after calling at least 10 other places. While the other places I called were cheaper...the little bit extra I laid for staying here was well worth it. The facilities are in excellent shape and you will always see the employees around the park maintaining it and talking with residents. The communication was top notch. I have been here since a week after the snow and ice storm, and the park has been very good about notifying people here about things being repaired! If I needed another long term stay I would do anything to get a spot here again!

This RV park has great spots that are nicely kept up. The location is excellent, very nice and quiet. There are awesome people here that answer your questions and help you with anything you need to know, but they are an RV park and not a hotel, so I gave four stars on that since I wasn't sure what they meant by service. They didn't come out and hook up the RV for us, but they do have people available to hire if you need that service, overall they are great folks and we have enjoyed the RV park.

I already have 8 months in this RV park and never had any problem, laundry always clean, receptionists are very kindly and help you out all the time with whatever problem you have, thank you for you Great Escapes.
