Goldfield RV Park

This is a town RV site. Therefore its location is excellent for Old Colorado, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. You can walk to Old Colorado high street in 5 mins , where there are plenty of nice shops, cafes and restaurants. The number 3 bus takes you to Manitou Springs and close to the Garden of Gods every half hour and was free for us when we were travelling (summer 2025). It is very clean and the staff are really helpful. We had electric, water and drainage at our site. If you want somewhere to have BBQs and campfires and space for a table in a green site this isn't for you. If it is just about location, cleanliness and lovely staff then it is. It is only four stars as the space between RVs is tight and there is no private space outside of your van.

Pros:The park is walking distance from old town. The poeple at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful. Cons: Water pressure is very low, under 40lbs. 😕 Spaces are a bit tight but was able to get all 3 slides out and still had about 6ft in front of the door. You can hear the busy roadway.

Smaller campground. Buy great people. I unfortunately was broke down near this campground. The staff allowed us to use the sanitary dump station and even shower. (Very clean) Without breaking the bank. The staff was extremely nice and helpful to us being over 1800 miles from home.

All the people that work in the office are nice. They are people that will help you in any way they can. The lady is fantastic she has answered any questions I have had. I will be coming back.

Teresa was the one who checked us in and she was absolutely fabulous! She was so nice, helpful, and friendly. Someone needs to pay her $50 an hour to answer the phones at the IRS. The lot was extremely small and right next to a busy road so it was loud. The showers were nice and new!

This is an urban rv park with 51 close spaces. It is well located for touring the area, the staff was great, and the restrooms updated and 5 of 5 clean. It is not a destination RV resort, but provides a good launching point for the Colorado Springs area.

We enjoyed our stay at Goldfield RV Park! All of the staff were amazing! We loved waking up and grabbing a free coffee at the office and getting advice on where to explore in the area from the friendly staff! The bathrooms and laundry were super clean, and the rest of the park was also well maintained. The location was great for all the attractions we visited while in Colorado Springs. Thank you to Brandon, Trint, Teresa, and Jane for your hospitality during our stay!
