Spindler Marina

Absolutely five stars. Definitely the nicest, cleanest campground I've ever stayed at. The staff and management are always kind and courteous. Very professional and friendly. Family friendly with nice scenery and spotless facilities. Certainly, the only place I'll go from now on. Five stars aren't enough praise.

We stayed for the Ledgestone open. The staff are friendly and amenities are clean. Come nightfall everything is quiet and peaceful. We will be back next year.

Awesome place, super convenient for activities in the area. We stayed in the cabin for a weekend, there are three. Great views of Peoria on the other side, great sunset on the water. Facilities are good, laundry, and bath house are nice. The campground is mostly for RVs and parked 5th wheel, but the area for tents and the 3 cabins make a nice area for "just a weekend." My group will be returning. Very satisfied.

This is a wonderful campground that is not only clean and well maintained, but ENSURES the security, safety, & welfare of all campers. Amanda is not only friendly, but is easily approachable and is readily available to answer any questions and concerns. She and Brad kept us informed of events that were occurring during our stay. (the demolition of the bridge, etc, keeping all of us aware and safe) She and Brad and the Park District crew ensure that the grounds and facilities are clean, working, & well maintained. Additionally, I am grateful for the presence of the Fondulac Police Department & East Peoria Police Department for their regular patrols through the campground. We can't wait to stay again! Descent little spot. If you want to fish or chill nice spot to get away.

Great camping lots of nice trails. Just wonderful!
