Review for tent camping: The front office is very nice and helpful. The tent sites have fences between them, giving some semblance of privacy. The bathrooms were quite clean and well kept. The grass space and playgrounds are great for kids. The location is nice that it is kind of in the middle of North Beach and rendezvous. But being right next to the main highway is a drawback for tent camping. Not a huge deal, since you'll hear every other camper and noise in a tent anyway. Maybe they'll update this, but I did not love that the tent sites are only dirt. It was muddy when we got there. Grass or even gravel would be better. Trailer sites have grass. I'm not sure if this is good or bad for most people, but be aware that the tent sites are not the typical back-in style. Parking is elevated, you have to walk down stairs. It can make it a little more challenging to unload and load. It made it impossible for us to inflate our large air mattress, even with the 25ft extension cord (we have a 110v outlet in our van we planned to use, and we cannot fit the mattress through the tent door once it is inflated. I'm also a little concerned about landslides with how they cut away the hillside for the tent camper parking. The staff never emptied the single garbage can for the tent area. It was overflowing the entire 2 nights we were there. Overall we had a good time in a clean place.

We reserved 3 pull through sites for 3 fifth wheel trailers. When we arrived we were told "sorry", we don’t have any pull through sites available. We were given 3 back in sites instead. The sites were tight but after several attempts we finally got all 3 units parked. ||There is no internet service so don’t ask. ||The bathrooms were clean but small. ||While you are near the lake there is no lake access and you cannot see the lake from the campground. ||We had stayed in multiple parks over 10 days in other tourist locations and at $107/night this was the highest priced of all. ||All in all we were disappointed and would not return.

We loved our stay here! First of all- the staff here is amazing. Very kind and thoughtful. We wanted to get marshmallows for the fire pit and they ran out. A few hours later the lady stopped at our spot with a bag! "I just wanted them to have fun". Our girls were so happy. Thank you so much for a special experience

Not a good experience, first of all they misguided with the grass picture of tent spot but there was all the tent spot is full of dirty dusty area not a single grass full of dust and I have dust allergy and I suffered a lot because of that there and second thing washroom was very very dirty I refuse to use all the time and I drive my car to gas station to use washroom and they charge a lot compared to other camping spot. Very very disappointing

We have been staying here 4 years in a row now and all of the same broken/gross things with the bathrooms haven't changed. In 4 years? We want to keep coming back but we would like to see some cleaning done in the showers and some things fixed, like the broken shower floors in the family showers.

Great location, clean tent camping spot, clean bathrooms, and welcoming check in. What was not okay is the loud group of teenage boys staying next to us who were not quiet after quiet time at 11:00 PM and my husband had to tell them to shut up at 11:48 PM. They were loud, rude and inconsiderate of the posted quiet time of 11:00 PM. We were pleased to see them packing up the next morning and happy to see them leave. This made our second night's stay very pleasant due to the vacant spot next door. Based on the owner's feed back to me regarding the No Return guest policy and the staff walk at 11:00 PM to remind guests about the quiet time, I would definitely stay here again. It's a great location close to town and the south end of the lake. We enjoyed our stay in spite of the loud teenagers the first night.

We have stayed here 3 times over the summer of 2023. It's a nice RV/tent campground north of town, so it's not super busy like the other ones in downtown Garden City. The hosts have been wonderful, and the park is really clean. There are on-site restrooms with showers, laundry; a little store for ice, snacks, souvenirs, and firewood. No WiFi, and cell phone service isn't very good, but that's okay as you are camping. 🙂 Only complaints are deluxe spots with the little yard and picnic table (nice by the way) are $95 nightly, and the crammed other spots are about $45-60 nightly. Crammed meaning you're parked right next to your neighbors like a parking lot. Our first weekend was wonderful! Quiet, respectful neighbors... but our last two weekends were full of screaming babies, rowdy kids, and loud music. We'd stay again in a pinch due to polite hosts and a very clean campground; but the high prices and loud neighbors are a deterrent. No beach or lake access, so you'll have to drive a little ways. Not really bicycle accessible either as it's far enough out of town, where the bike/walking trail doesn't reach it. Traffic is fast moving by the one way entrance and exits. So look both ways when leaving.
