Gone Fishing Rv Resort

I have not had an opportunity to stay here, however, I come here to fill my propane tanks. People make all the difference in the world in our lives. You know when you've gone to a place and the experience is amazing; how amazing is getting propane tanks filled? It's not on my top ten, let's just say that. It's the interaction with the owners. These are two of the nicest people who have a passion for what they do. They have a bright, optimistic spirit, and they take pride in their campground. Everything is clean and we'll maintained and they are constantly working to make improvements. Their demeanor would make anyone want to stay there. It's conveniently located right next to Lake Texoma; across the highway is the state park with boat ramp access. I think they have the best prices for propane locally, but even if they didn't, I'd still support them because of how awesome they are.

Shannon & Dwain are the absolute BEST! This is not just a beautiful RV Resort - it’s a wonderful community of neighbors who care about one another !! I would highly recommend this site for weekends or long term stays if you want to have a clean, safe and beautiful place to stay in your RV or camper! The location is perfect for the awesome Lake Life activities as well.

During the Jan 2026 freeze, I needed propane for my camper. The campground I was at didn’t sell propane and they recommended Gone Fishing RV Resort. Gone Fishing was open, very helpful and extremely friendly. Thanks.

This was our second time staying at this RV Park. It is very nice place to stay as everything is clean and orderly. The owners are fabulous people and we will continue to try and stay at their RV Park. Shannon is the best RV Park host we have ever experienced.

We stayed they July 25 for 2 weeks. We chose them due to the Core Park we had previously booked being closed due to the flooding. It was a blessing in disguise, the host we exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful. Park was clean and lot of shade trees. Will definitely be back there

I had a great time here. The owners Dwain and Shannon do a great job of keeping the park extremely well kept and are great people. I stayed in an apartment which was clean with modern appliances and TV as well as nice little touches everywhere you look. You’d also have a hard time finding nicer showers and bathrooms they have available downstairs anywhere. It was my first time on lake Texoma which is super close and had a blast on the Jet Skis they have available to rent. Definitely will be going back.

Gone Fishing RV resort is a wonderful experience. The park is quiet and clean. Dwayne and Shannon are phenomenal hosts and truly care about your experience at their resort. We were off to a rocky weekend with various issues with our trailer. They were very helpful and caring with making sure our long weekend improved and we had a great family weekend.
