Flamingo Campground T Loop

Nice pull through sites, not many have shade but also not right on top of each other which is nice. Level sites also make easy to get set up . T loop does have some electric sites which was also nice to have . Staff and volunteers very nice and helpful!

Lovely campground with spacious sites, with fire ring and table. Great for stargazing and taking in the sights and sounds of all the beautiful nature around you. Great trails for bikes, and hikes, fishing off the bay. There are 2 walkable bath houses with wash sinks for dishes, no real standard of cleaning though. Showers ran out of hot water at 5pm, this was a bummer. Visitors centre and Marina a short bike ride away. Well maintained over all.

Nice place to camp with really nice spacious camp sites. There is a fire pit and grill, 2 walkable bath houses. The bath houses look to be clean and well kept. It's an easy bike ride to the visitors center and hiking trails too.

Very interesting experience, we came here in March to tent camp which I probably wouldn’t do again due to mosquitoes and heat. We did find a shady spot to camp which helped. There is power at the camp sites but no water- bathrooms are basic and clean and there is a hose there. The other campers were spring breakers and a group of men from Miami who hired escorts to join them in their RV and party until 5am (didn’t keep us awake ). There’s no where to swim here because of all the gators. Bring a kayak or a bike, the trails are lovely.

I gave this 5 stars because it is a very nice campground but it was mosquito central and I'm talking millions. They just swarm you even with bug spray. If not for that it would have been way more enjoyable. Just come prepared a screen tent is highly recommended. We didn't have one but wish we would've thought to bring one The crocodiles were out sunning at the marina. So glad we got to see them!!

We loved our time there! It was refreshing, humid, and full of mosquitoes! 😁 But if you’re prepared it’s seriously so nice to be off grid for a while. Hiking, biking, and fishing near by. You can see lots of wildlife too! Dogs are welcomed but they cannot be on certain trails, but plenty of space to walk them. Where we stayed there was no cell service for Verizon. It was perfect! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! You can rent paddle boards and kayaks! Their wood a bundle is 8.50, grab two if you’re having a fire. It burns fast. Overall it was so enjoyable, and we cannot wait to stay again! On your way out make sure you stop at Robert Is Here, fruit stand! Such a treat! 🍊🥑🍌🥥🥭

Magnificent Disconnect out in Nature with similar like-minded exploring campers.... Mosquitos not a problem like summertime.... Staff are All Friendly and eager to answer questions... Rangers are always available for Educational Programs.... I learned of a Magnificent Hunter Bird, Osprey, nesting in a couple of places.... All the self events you and your family can imagine and participate together; the park has kayaks and narrated tours for a cost.... Must be self sufficient and have your own supplies, I was amazed at the large number of Families and Fishermen that visit Flamingo... We will be returning again.... Ed in Florida....
