Bolsa Chica Campground

Cement parking spots with restrooms at the end of the loop. Must be fully self contained. They don't have any spots for tents. Nice campground, but please, please beware of stingrays.

Beautiful spot off Pacific Coast Hwy, between Bolsa Chica Wildlife Reserve and the Pacific Ocean. Spots are close together, but the views make up for it and other campers tend to be friendly.

What an awesome place! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We found a great spot for our 40' MCI on the beach side.

I absolutely love this beach. It's definitely my favorite, always clean, parking is super close. There's plenty of place to set up your spot and not be too close to people around you.

Literally 3 downfalls. 1. They could use more fire pits. 2. They could regulate the pits better by actually enforcing the, "you must be present to save a fire pit" (however its worded). 3. Is horrible. The last 3 times we went we barely found a pit and it was because people would put chairs or an umbrella next to it and assume that's they way to claim it. The 2 times the people that "saved" a pit NEVER showed up. Both times we showed up as the gates open and left at 10pm and not one person show up. The pros - 1. It's a beautiful California beach! 2. It's pretty clean. 3. It's a beautiful California beach, what more needs to be said 😂

Came here with my kids on a late Oct weekend, I feel con more than pro to this site. Con: 1. Traffic noise 24/7!! Right next to Hwy 1, the motorcycles, trucks and cars are running next to you ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Can not sleep at all. Food place next to us has live band on Saturday. Don't expect you will have a nice and peaceful day next to the beach, it is very noisy add with the traffic noise.... Dog pee and poop everywhere due to bad pet owners. Pro: Right next to the beach, easy and close just walk cross the sidewalk. Have electric and water campsite. If you would like to go camping close to beach next time, I would recommend the one little north of Malibu.

Nice if you like camping in a parking lot. But a few steps from the sand.
