NAS Jacksonville Manatee Cove RV Park

It's okay, would do an overnight,maybe two if I had no alternative. The welcoming process and information packet are top shelf but once to the campground, it slid pretty hard. My spot (20) was hot garbage with no internet, no LOS for starlink, and I had to sweep and actually clear brush from my spot (typically done by the camp host before arrival). Speaking of camp host, weird thing was the camp host knocked on my door before my check out time on the day of my departure to ask if I was leaving because "someone up the hill was waiting for the spot". I was not over my time and check-in is in the afternoon, so I dont understand the door knock - leave me the hell alone unless I have overstayed my time!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We evacuated the west coast of Florida due to the hurricane and finally heading home on our trip. We hit a delay and got lucky enough to reserve a night here. The MWR manager was above and beyond. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very direct/clear on the phone with what we needed to do to get situated. Once we arrived she was clear on directions and helped us get our reservation configured to meet our needs. This was a God send, especially since we have our newborn and was exhausted. The sites were simple enough, but also easy enough. We were met at the entrance of the sites by the camp hosts who gave us the rundown and escorted us to our site. They even helped spot us into the site (we didn't need it, but it looks like they have to do it). After getting level, setting up and plugging in; we were able to relax and access the multiple amenities we needed to get reset.

The shower and bath house has been going through a total remodel. They have mobile laundry and bathroom trailer units. If your eligible this campground is an A+. It's on base but its far from the flight line. One last note the Jnas has a huge commissary and PX (post exchange).

This was a fabulous FamCamp. We only gave four stars because of the ongoing construction. (This will be a 5 star plus campground when construction is completed). Campground host were AWESOME.

Nice, small. Baths and laundry well kept. Gravel was my enemy. Walked over to play golf several times, very close.

We made a same day reservation and they had one spot open. We had a midnight arrival and the camp host was happy to help. I woke up to a dead battery and I texted him and even though he didn't have jumper cables he found a jumper battery from someone (didn't work) and then found cables from someone else. It worked. Our site was near the water so when I woke up I had a lovely moment with some wildlife. I have a camper conversation SUV and they allowed me to park. The bathrooms were clean and had a heater. The person who made the reservation was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a nice stay.

Good campground. Concrete and level sights. Somewhat exposed in some areas with no tree cover. Pretty quiet so far. One of the best things is that it is $35 for full hookup, at least at the time of those review. The sights are a little skinny. Beware of slidout location prior to deployment of slides. Clean and secure bathrooms. Overall, pretty good place, especially for the price
