Be careful. Manager is charging $50 cleaning fees for FISHING kayaks smelling like fish and having a sunflower seed rapper left in them. Do not recommend renting from here unless you want to overpay for some kayaks and get charged extra multiple days after return. Also, they did not strap our kayaks onto the trailer correctly which thankfully fell off before we got on the highway potentially causing much harm. When we had a discussion they threatened to charge me more if I did not pay the cleaning fee "we could charge you for other things" Also told me I should have returned them in the condition I got them which was brand new (so not physically possible) They’re looking to get every penny possible from you. Do not recommend

Easy to book, great equipment, nice staff, cheap prices. Will be using their services again and recommending to any military member looking to spend time outside in the Charleston area.

Despite having vessel license and state boaters education certificate. You can not rent a darn jon boat without attending Joint Base's vessel class, which is not offered regularly. Super friendly staff though.

Picnic benches with overhead cover. Needed some cleaning before we started cooking and eating. Bathrooms are nearby and weather was warm with slight breeze. Good times had by all

USE CAUTION WHEN VISITING OR RENTING EQUIPMENT. Manager (Stefan) is extremely rude and dishonest, has started charging wild fees upon equipment return. Apparently he believes that it takes TWO men TWO HOURS to hose a footprint off of a 17 ft boat and that’s a $50 hose job. I’ve been a regular for 7 years and have never been charged a fee upon returning the equipment until now. Use caution when renting equipment as of 4/17/2025 this guy is out to nickel and dime our military community and it’s wrong. Spoken to several others who have had similar experiences lately. I hope that they get this under control soon because this used to be a top notch MWR.

The Golf course is in pretty good shape and you can't beat the price for a round. Wednesdays is Seniors day. $29.00. I get out as much as I can (wx permitted) Active duty, retirees and guests welcome.
